After some complications, the five sisters, each accompanied by a disciple, find themselves in power in different areas where they do their best to improve the daily life of the population and thanks to the efforts of the Summoners, the chaos of wars will be no more than a distant memory. The latter, oblivious to being real time bombs, have given themselves the mission of protecting the population by killing the autocrats. Drakengard 3 and Zero’s fratricidal quest This galvanizing discovery will be the cause of failed experiments which will result in many deaths and will end in 995 AD with the explosion of the Academy of Magic and the appearance of a huge Flower seen by the survivors. For many reasons, people will migrate to this mysterious city where scholars will discover magic. This cataclysm gives birth to vile creatures including dragons who wreak havoc all over the world. The plot begins in 856 AD, the year in which the Cataclysm, a violent earthquake making rise from the bowels of the earth, an entire city called Cathedral City. Drakengard 3 – Prologueįor the record, the Drakengard series takes place in a universe inspired by the Middle Ages and parallel to ours. This why, we will not evoke Drakengard 2 which was not carried out by the teams of the first Drakengard and NieR, the latter resulting in a Timeline different from that which led to the first NieR. As you surely know, the works of Yoko Taro testify to different endings and the aim of this article is to show the correlation of the Drakengard games up to the first NieR while allowing certain details to be omitted in order to make it more accessible.
